LINE
LOCK ASSEMBLY |
|

|
Purpose:
The line lock is designed to hold
the brake on during the staged portion of the race to avoid red lights
due to rolling or clutch drag. It can also be adapted to release the
brakes at different speeds to control wheel spin.
Operation: The line lock is activated by a throttle switch and
released
with a clutch switch or the release of the push-button on slider
equipped bikes. It is an air-operated cylinder that applies the rear
brake, with electric control to activate and de-activate it.
Example: You roll into the pre-stage beam, then into the stage
beam.
When you are where you want to be, hold the throttle wide open
activating
the line lock. On green, you release the clutch which de-activates the
line lock.
Compatibility: You must use a 2-Step to use this system.
